SIXTEEN26 DEVELOPMENT Charlottesville, VA

Working with a group of students from UVa’s Darden School of Business, Richard Price developed this strategy for phased infill development on a key site in the city’s West Main corridor. The project includes the renovation of an existing industrial building, mixed-use townhouses, offices and mews housing.

The project illustrated a process for appropriately-scaled, mixed use development that can be undertaken by the local development community as an alternative to the large-scale development that is transforming the character and scale of the city.
