MORVEN: A FRAMEWORK FOR THE FUTURE

Richard Price, leading a team of students from the University of Virginia School of Architecture, analyzed historical and physical data and produced a series of maps describing the University’s current property holdings at Morven. The analysis also formed the basis for further research on sustainability indices in coordination with the office of the Vice President for Research.

The mapping exercises were designed to both better understand the potential and limitations of the property, and to begin to develop a framework that can be used to help evaluate proposals for the future use of the property.
